2023-2025
Pima Medical Institute
Project Information
I developed a tooth character for a prior project for the dental hygiene program. I repurposed him for this animation and had him go through a dentist-recommended oral hygiene routine.

This timeline animation was created as a background for a series of social media videos in support of National Women’s Month. There were multiple reels posted throughout the month themed around women’s accomplishments in medicine through the years.Â

The theme for Surgical Technologists week was “Surgical Stars,” so I went in a literal direction with that and brought it into space. I utilized some particle effects and some of After Effects’ 3D capabilities to add some depth to the scene.
Project Information
New Years is such a fun experience, I took the opportunity to create a sort of immersive, POV-style New Years animation. The graphic elements were designed in Illustrator. I then brought that into After Effects and created the fireworks using particle effects and glows.
Project Information
I received a request from one of our marketing managers for an animation geared toward high school graduates. One thing that symbolizes graduation to me is the classic “throwing of the hats” shot one always sees in movies and TV shows. I created the whole graphic scene in Illustrator and animated it in After Effects.
Project Information
I was given a project by the Content and Social Media Manager to create an animation from the point of view of a high school student making a checklist prior to going to college. I was given a script from the PR Manager to work with. I created the handwriting animation in After Effects and added in relevant doodles here and there.

A consistent part of my role at Pima Medical Institute is creating animations for our social channels for almost every holiday one could think of, such as the healthcare-related animations above. Environmental issues and sustainability are important to me, and as a fan of Sci-Fi I was very excited that the year’s theme, “Planet Vs Plastics,” sounds a lot like a cheesy movie title.
Project Information
Just a simple animation for Independence Day. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but fireworks every year can get a little tired. I went with some other classic symbolism and some bold typography.
Project Information
Every few months, at Pima Medical Institute, there is an all-campus Open House event. The usual reels were always pretty text-heavy, so I got the opportunity to refresh the look of things when we did the annual creative pivot shortly after I came on board in 2023. I dug into the owned media library and found a video that was created a year or so prior. I cut some clips from the video that were closely related to the copy and added a transition to tie it together to the invite care at the end.
Project Information
I took a mixed-media approach to this PTA graphic. I created an animation of a physical therapist taking a patient through a common rehabilitation activity and paired that with some photos of PTA students performing some other physical therapy routines.
Project Information
For some of the healthcare holidays, there is an established annual theme that the Social Media Manager likes to riff off of. National Nurses Week had this kind of flame-shaped graphic paired with big, bold text. I created some similar shapes in our brand colors to incorporate into photos of one of our students. I brought the photos into Photoshop and cut the subject out of the images. I filled in the background where the subject was, so I could fade them into the photo and over the graphic on the right.
Project Information
This was the most recent creative refresh for the campus Open Houses in 2025. We have two marketing agencies that our marketing department works with. They conduct market research to provide us with options for the theme. Those ideas come to me, and from there, I refine them and make them more on-brand.Â
